Mr. Hasan has been a licensed member of the Virginia State Bar since 2000. Born in Washington, DC, he attended Arlington County and Fairfax County public schools, Northern Virginia Community College, JMU, GMU and the University of Illinois College of Law.
Mr. Hasan’s experience, both personal and professional, enable him to provide his clients with sound counsel, a comfortable environment, respect and the best possible representation. Nader Hasan is an experienced and passionate attorney who represents businesses, business owners, and individuals during all stages of business development. From small start-ups to large established businesses, Mr. Hasan provides guidance and expertise in business formation, management, profitability, marketing, acquisition and sale, as well as contract disputes and commercial lease negotiation. Mr. Hasan is also focused on giving back to the community in several ways. He coaches the Fairfax High School golf team, previously coached their wrestling team, and mentors several students each semester. He has taught Hospitality Law at Northern Virginia Community College for the last eleven years. He also participated in the Yorktown High School Senior Mentoring Program and the Leadership Arlington Program. Mr. Hasan also served as a Guardian ad litem for ten years in Arlington and Fairfax Counties. As a well-established trial attorney, Mr. Hasan has personally handled over 100 trials, both jury and non-jury. Mr. Hasan gained the majority of his courtroom experience with his criminal and family law cases. He has a reputation for vigorously defending his clients and achieving excellent results. He has argued before the Virginia Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for Virginia, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, where he recently got a not guilty verdict in a drug conspiracy case. Mr. Hasan regularly appears in the Circuit, General District and Juvenile & Domestic Relations Courts for the following jurisdictions: City of Alexandria, Arlington County, City of Fredericksburg, Culpeper County, Fairfax County, Fauquier County, Loudoun County, Prince William County, Spotsylvania County and Stafford County.
